You will receive a small container of ACTIVE sourdough starter. My starter has been passed down for 3 generations and it’s still going.
directions :
move to a larger mason or bowl with lid, add equal parts warm / room temp filtered water & unbleached flour daily to keep fed. If you want to make bread using more flour than water usually works best for bubbly starter, you’ll want it to be a thick pancake like batter. Keep in warm spot on your kitchen counter.
Going on vacation, don’t feel like using it, put it in your fridge! If in the right container it can stay in there for quite a while without dying.
